IPALC Research and Development
Born as Biotech Centro di Ricerca for isolation of fiber components from cereals and to provide a series of analytical services for food industry, IPALC R&D is a new brand of IPALC Gruppo Lo Conte, placed in the Company centre of Frigento-AV (Campania Region, Italy).
Research activities are performed in fully equipped laboratories deputed to biochemical and rheology assessments. The centre also encompasses a large facility where novel food and functional food prototypes are developed and tested for baking characteristics. The overall surface of the centre dedicated to research activity is about 1000 square meters, and it is completed by a conference/lab meeting room.
IPALC R&D has active collaborations with the following Italian research centres: CNR-Institute of Food Sciences, University “Federico II” of Naples, University of Bari, University of Molise.
